Pinnacle residents Jeffery Hagerman and Amy Quesinberry have been arrested and charged with breaking and entering.

In the last week of June, Stokes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call and found an outbuilding had been broken into by pulling off a wood panel.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division received the case and developed two suspects.

On July 7, Hagerman and Quesinberry were arrested in connection with the crime. Detectives are also investigating numerous larcenies of yard equipment in the Pinnacle area and are working to determine if they are related to this incident.

“We have been able to charge in one case so far, but our detectives are following leads to try and locate other stolen property taken around the same time and place as this break in,” said Sheriff Mike Marshall.

Hagerman and Quesinberry are currently being held in the Stokes County Jail awaiting their court date on Aug. 16. The investigation is ongoing, and more charges are expected.

Hagerman, 39 years old, is charged with one count felony breaking and entering, one count felony attempted larceny, one count felony conspiracy to break and enter, one count injury to property and is being held on a $15,000 secured bond. Quesinberry, 35 years old, is charged with one count felony breaking and entering, one count felony attempted larceny, one count felony conspiracy to break and enter, one count injury to property and is being held on a $10,000 secured bond.
