Can you believe it’s November? Not sure where the time has gone this year. Next week at this time, we will know who our next president will be. Please vote. It is our duty as American citizens to take part in our elections. I’ve heard all my life, if you don’t vote, you can’t complain.

I hope everyone has noticed our “Little Free Library” at the Francisco Walking Trail beside the school. This is such a wonderful concept for anyone who loves to read. Parents with small children may also benefit from this also. Stop by and look at what our “Little Free Library” has to offer. Take a book and if you have a book you would like to share with others, leave a book. Keep the books as long as you wish and return them when you’re done. There also may be some workbooks for children as well as magazines and books for teens. Check it out. We have something for everyone.

Also, visit the Bookmobile that stops by the Francisco School every Monday from 10:00 am to 12 noon. Colder days are ahead and there is nothing better than a good book and a cup of coffee. Come and pick out a book for the holidays while you may be off work. But please remember that the Bookmobile follows the same schedule as our schools. If the schools are closed for snow, the Bookmobile will not run.

We’re having a new upgrade to the old tennis court at the Francisco Community Park. Bill Hart has been busy sealing the cracks in the asphalt and new basketball goals are going up this week. All the basketball enthusiasts around here will enjoy playing on our “new” old court. A big “thank you” goes to Bill for all the hard work he has put into this project.
