Please join us as Sandy Ridge Music Association welcomes Paula Dellenback & Fox River and 2 Young 2 Old to Sandy Ridge Community Center Saturday, September 8 beginning at 6 pm. These two groups are awesome! George Cutchins of Sandy Ridge will be playing bass with Paula Dellenback, so don’t miss this!

Don’t forget about the Yard and Bake Sale at Delta United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 8. Ham and sausage biscuits will be on sale for breakfast. Call Shelvie Dodson at 871-2183 for more information.

TRIED AND TASTED RECIPE

Hashbrown Casserole (from Loretta Lynn’s recipes)

1 30 oz. bag frozen hashbrowns

8 oz. sour cream

1 (10 ¾ oz.) can cream of chicken soup

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix hashbrowns, sour cream, soup and cheese.

Place in buttered 13 x 9 dish. Bake 1 hour. Serves 12.

This side dish recipe is easy and fast to prepare. It is fantastic!
