Ruby Marshall fell and broke her leg in two places. She is in the Baptist Hospital.

Happy Birthday this week to Sandy Jones and Charles “Chuck” Covington.

The Rock House Ruritan Club members would like to thank everyone who attended and supported our tractor show last Saturday. We enjoyed the band, food, and fellowship.

On August 18 at 6 PM, the Chuck Wagon Gang will be singing at the First Baptist Church of Stanleyville located at 851 Ziglar Road. Free admission but a love offering will be taken up.

Brims Grove Baptist Church Homecoming will be September 30th. The theme this year is “A Season of Praise.” There will be plenty of special music. Please plan to attend and there will be a covered dish meal after the worship service.

The Stokes County Bookmobile will be at the Rock House Ruritan Club parking lot every 3rd Monday from 10 to 11 AM. The club is located at 2889 Hwy 268E, Pinnacle, NC 27043.

There will be a huge yard sale Friday and Saturday from 8 AM to 1 PM at the Rock House Ruritan Club on August 10th & 11th.
