QUOTE OF THE WEEK
“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.” —-Lauren DeStefano
TRIED AND TASTED RECIPE
Onion-Roasted Potatoes (I love these; they are so easy to fix!)
1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
4 medium all-purpose potatoes, cut into large chunks (about 2 lbs.)
1/3 cup olive or vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In large plastic bag or bowl, add all ingredients. Close bag and shake, or toss in bowl, until potatoes are evenly coated. In 13 x 9 baking or roasting pan, arrange potatoes. Discard bag. Bake uncovered, stirring occasionally, 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Option: Use Garlic Mushroom, Onion-Mushroom, Golden Onion, Savory Herb with Garlic or Fiesta Herb with Pepper in place of Onion Soup flavor.
