Donna Edwards is at home now after surgery at the Medical Park Hospital on Tuesday. She is sore but doing very well.

Jim East had surgery last Friday.

Frances Farmer is a patient at the Forsyth Memorial Hospital.

Nancy Palmer fell, broke her hip and had surgery.

Curtis Inman is a patient in a hospice home as a result of falling, breaking four ribs, and developing pneumonia. Please lift him up in your prayers.

The funeral for Stanley East was held Wednesday night at 6 pm at Brown Mountain Baptist Church. He is being missed by the folks in Pilot Mountain. He could be seen walking the streets or riding on his lawn mower.

A 90th birthday party was held last Saturday for Hallie Hall at the Brims Grove Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. She would like to thank everyone for the party and those who attended. She enjoyed the day very much. On Sunday Hallie, Delano Creson, Nancy Speaks, Dillon Davis went to lunch at Town and Country in King.

Jonathan Edwards celebrated his 60th birthday on August 23rd – Congratulations! Also, Jonathan and Donna celebrated their wedding anniversary. They are a very special couple!

Happy Birthday this week to Jean Gordy and Anita Fulk.

Homecoming will be observed on September 17th with Mark Hall at the Brims Grove Baptist Church at 11 AM. Pastor Gerald Jones invites everyone to attend and bring a well filled basket.
