King City Council recognizes young citizens


Levi Ashby and Phillip Sekander of Boy Scout Troop 409, sponsored by Carl Calloway American Legion Post #290 led the Pledge of Allegiance at the August 7 King City Council meeting.

Zeb Mathis was recognized with a Mayoral Proclamation for his outstanding achievements in AAU martial arts. Mathis has trained at the Japan Shudokan Budo-kai Karate School in King for 2 1/2 years and is very accomplished, having earned multiple medals in recent competitions.
