Water Treatment Plant Operator Ryan Steele has been named City of King’s Employee of the Quarter. Steele has been with the water plant for the past year and in that time obtained his C-Surface certification, lab school certification and took the B-Surface test the end of May.
Water Plant Supervisor Benjamin Marion nominated Steele and said he comes in each day with a positive attitude and gives 100 percent to the job at hand.
“He’s particular about his work and does a great job ensuring that the safest, cleanest and best water is produced to each and every customer. When things come up around the plant, he is the first to volunteer to stay after and help,” Marion said. “He’s developed new ways to make life easier for each operator during shifts. He’s a true asset to the Water Plan and the City of King.”
Mayor Jack Warren publically recognized Steele at a recent council meeting and presented him with a plaque for his service.
