The Stokes News is the only newspaper that covers all of Stokes County. Stokes County is a rapidly growing county with municipalities in King, Walnut Cove and Danbury. The Stokes News has been in circulation since the late 1800’s in the form of The Danbury Reporter which was merged with The King Times News in 2001 to form the Stokes News.
