The quick response was not enough, however; Allen was found already deceased at the scene in the 1500 block of Pine Hall Road, just one house down from where he lived at 1527 Pine Hall Road in downtown Pine Hall.
His body was transported to Stokes Reynolds Memorial Hospital. An autopsy was later performed at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Results have not been released.
The person who ran over Allen has not been charged in this case. The investigation is continuing at this time.
