Dear Editor,
To the Stokes County EMS, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you did for my mom when she had a heart attack. It was on April 14, 2010. My mom was outside in her yard working when she started having chest pain. She made it inside her house to call for an ambulance. The dispatcher asked her if she had taken any aspirin, and she told them she had taken two. The dispatcher told her to take two more. The dispatcher also played a huge part in saving her life, and I thank you. The ambulance was there and probably at the hospital in about 20 minutes or so. Thank you to Stokes County EMS and everyone that did what they did. God bless you all.
I would also like to publicly thank Meadows Baptist Church and everyone who thought a thought or said a prayer for my mom. Thank you. I also want to say thank you to our pastor Rick Craig. When my mom had her heart attack, Brother Rick Craig came to visit before church and after church. He came everyday. God bless you, Brother Rick. I cannot thank you enough.
I would also like to thank Forsyth Medical Center. Everyone went above and beyond to help my mom, as well as to help me. I want to thank everyone in the ED, Cath Lab, CICU and 8WT. I also want to thank the Respiratory Department for all they did for my mom and me.
I want to thank Dr. Clevenger of Winston-Salem Cardiology for doing my mom’s heart cath and for all the wonderful care he has given her. He was very thoughtful and truthful about what had happened to her. Not to mention how nice he was. I just want to thank you.
If I have left anyone out, thank you. Most importantly, I want to thank God for surrounding me and my mom with such wonderful and caring people. I also want to thank God for giving me some more time with my mom.
