Relay for Life—Calling all churches! Enter the mission field of Stokes County by having a Relay for Life team this year. The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported and that one day cancer will be eliminated. Ministry workshop—Harvest Temple Church of God, 312 Newsome Road, King, is offering the following class in their School of Ministry: “Communicating Effectively.” The class is a review of the fundamentals of English grammar, with emphasis on writing and composition. The course will review the basic principles of speaking, different kinds of speeches and various forms of speech communication. How all of this interacts with modern methods of conveying one’s message is part of this study. Registration was February 4. Class begins February 18 and will run until June 3. The student will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the class. Call the church office for more information at 983-9754.

Spaghetti supper—Corinth Church Of Christ, 2784 South Friendship Road, Germanton, will be having a spaghetti supper—eat-in or takeout—on February 13 from 5-7 p.m., sponsored by the Ladies Missionary Group. Donations are accepted.
