Danbury Mayor Jane Priddy Charleville greets town citizens at the old courthouse.
The event began at 3 p.m. and continued past the predicted 6:30 p.m. conclusion. Christmas carols were sung around the dazzling tree as town residents fellowshipped. The Stokes County Historical Museum was open from 3-5 p.m. with a large crowd in attendance. The Stokes County Arts Council was a driving force behind the annual holiday event.
