On Tuesday, April 16th, the ACC All-Stars will appear in Winston Salem for a basketball game at Mt. Tabor High School. This year’s roster is highlighted with players from North Carolina, Duke, NC State, and Wake Forest. Standouts include Duke’s Seth Curry and Mason Plumlee, UNC’s Dexter Strickland, NC State’s Scott Wood and Richard Howell, and Wake’s C.J. Harris — a Mt. Tabor grad.
General Admission tickets for the game are only $10 presale and $12 at the door on game day. There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets available for $50. VIP tickets include a post game reception with the ACC players and a front row seat to the game. Tickets will go on sale following the ACC Conference Tournament; the ticket outlets will be announced next month. Tickets will also be available online at carolinabarnstorming.com and by phone at 704-246-3816.
This marks the 35th year for the ACC Barnstorming Tour, which has traveled with the likes of Sidney Lowe, Len Bias, Michael Jordan, Tyler Hansbrough, Nolan Smith, and Tyler Zeller through the years. This year’s game will feature a 3-point contest and dunk contest at halftime. Players will be available following the game for a limited autograph session.
Local high school seniors and recent graduates will be playing against the ACC All-Stars with the roster being announced at a later date. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House and Mt. Tabor High School. The ACC Barnstorming Tour is sponsored and promoted by The Sumner Group.
