Blood drive — Trinity United Methodist Church will have a blood drive on Feb. 25 from 2-7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, 725 West Dalton Street, King. Singing — Calvary Hill Baptist Church, Walnut Cove Elementary School Road, will have a gospel singing on March 2 at 7 p.m. with Singing Witness Gospel Group.
Sun., March 3-Fri., March 8
Revival — Lawsonville Church of God will host a revival with the Rev. Greg Williamson from March 3-8. Services on Sunday are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and from Monday through Friday at 7 p.m. nightly.
Ongoing Events
Rehearsals — Please come and be part of the Great Sabbath Chorus. Rehearsals began on Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Room 101 of Home Moravian Church. Rehearsals continue on Feb. 24 and March 3, 17 and 20. Rehearsals will conclude at 5 p.m. Orchestral and chorus rehearsal will be on Friday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Home Church Sanctuary. Finances program — Updated in summer 2012, Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University nine-week course provides families and individuals with practical tools to gain control of their finances and set themselves up for long-term financial success. The course meets once a week where a different lesson is taught by Dave on DVD followed by a small-group discussion. Lessons include budgeting, relationships and money, getting out of debt, saving for emergencies and investing. FPU will be held in Walnut Cove at Walnut Cove First Baptist Church, 415 Summit Street, Walnut Cove.
