Lenten service — Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church, 6012 Germanton Road, Winston-Salem, will host a Community Lenten Service on Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m. Guest minister/speaker will be the Rev. Jeff Harlow. For information call 924-4712.

Mon., Feb. 25

Blood drive — Trinity United Methodist Church will have a blood drive on Feb. 25 from 2-7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, 725 West Dalton Street, King. To schedule your appointment, call Peggy at 671-0151 or Peggy L at 416-2786 or visit trinityblooddrive.com. Appointments are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Please bring a photo ID and all presenting donors will be eligible to win a $1,000 gift card. Eat iron rich foods and drink plenty of water one week prior to donation.

Ongoing Events

Rehearsals — Please come and be part of the Great Sabbath Chorus. Rehearsals begin on Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in Room 101 of Home Moravian Church. Rehearsals continue on Feb. 24 and March 3, 17 and 20. Rehearsals will conclude at 5 p.m. Orchestral and chorus rehearsal will be on Friday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Home Church Sanctuary.
