Sheriff Mike Marshall wants people to be aware that fingerprinting services will not be available to the public at the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday, Feb. 13.
The sheriff said the fingerprinting machine utilized by the general public will be serviced on that day for an upgrade. That is the only day it should be down.
This means those who need to be fingerprinted for a job application or concealed carry permit will not be able to access the service that day.
A separate machine used to process offenders will still be up and running, so officers can carry on their arrests, but that machine is off limits to the general public.
