The fourth annual Stokes County Business Extravaganza will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Camp Hanes Conference Center.

The event was originally supposed to take place last Thursday but was postponed due to winter weather. Stokes County Economic Development Director Alan Wood said the free networking event for local business leaders will still feature food, door prizes, booths, music and a 50’s theme.

“Nothing’s changing except for the date,” he said.

This year’s theme will be “Hop Around the Rock,” a Rock and Roll celebration in the style of the 1950’s. People are still encouraged to dress 50’s chic. Food will be car hop approved and Taylor Vaden will perform live music. Dozens of booths will still be set up around the gym in Camp Hanes. Last year well over 200 people attended the event.
