West Stokes perfect conference record was brought to end Friday night with a 54-44 loss to Winston-Salem Prep. The Wildcats are now 6-1 in the conference.

The West Stokes varsity girls team had better luck against Prep and came away with a narrow three-point victory in the final moments of the game. The final score of the varsity girls game was 40-37. The Lady Wildcats improved to 2-5 in the conference.

The top scorers for the varsity girls team were Makala Bozman (25 pts.) and Abby Harris (6 pts.). The top scorers for the varsity boys team were Josh Spainhour (20 pts.), Reid Goodson (12 pts.) and Alston Furr (10 pts.).
