The Walnut Cove Public Library is proud to announce the winner of its Teen Read Week Contest — Jasmine Evans. Jasmine is a student at Southeastern Stokes Middle School. She is an excellent writer, according to library staff, who say her short story “The Headless Mushroom” is wonderfully written and enjoyed by many who read it.
