The Stokes News will observe an early deadline this week due to the New Years holiday. The classified and legal advertising deadline will be noon on Friday, December 28 for the upcoming paper. The deadline for retail advertisements is 5 p.m. on Friday. Submissions such as calendar items, letters to the editor and community columns should be turned in by 3 p.m. Friday.
