The Rock House Ruritans would like to thank all who came out to the turkey shoot Saturday night and for buying tickets on the gun and Mike Marshall knife. Beverly Bennett won the gun and Juanita Bennett won the knife. The Ruritan Club will continue to have the turkey shoots each Saturday night with the doors opening at 5 p.m. The shooting starts at 6 p.m. I met a nice Ms. Wood from Danbury at the turkey shoot last Saturday night. She said she wanted to meet me because she read my column every week in The Stokes News.
Otilla Vaden fell and broke her wrists and hip. I do not know which hospital she is in at this time.
Marty Inman got a deer last Friday.
Judy Chilton is a patient at the Baptist Hospital in ICU.
Betty Boles remains a patient in the Baptist Hospital where she had surgery.
Those visiting Juanita Gordy Sunday were Nancy Speaks, Dottie Lillagore, Hallie Hall, Missy and Kayla Lewis.
