The following incidents/investigations were reported to the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office recently. The information includes the area where it occurred, the incident and any additional information provided.


Shoplifting was reported at Dodgetown Road, Walnut Cove, when $12 phone cases were stolen.


Assault on a female and communicating threats were reported at Nance Lane, King.


Larceny was reported at Perch Road and Old US 52 North, Pinnacle, when $250 cell phone was stolen.


Breaking and entering was reported at Highway 704 East, Sandy Ridge, when $50 damage was done to padlock.


Larceny was reported at Highway 704, Sandy Ridge, when $28 license plate sticker was stolen.


Larceny was reported at Kallam Farm Road, Sandy Ridge, when $110 camera was stolen.


Disturbance and weapon violation were reported at Dearmin Road, Westfield, when $180 shotgun was seized.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Beasley School Road, when $125 tool box with assorted tools and $25 clock were stolen.


Breaking and entering outbuilding, larceny and damage to property were reported at Coon Club Road, Madison, when $1,750 guns, $20 old sewing machine and $20 chest of drawers were stolen.


Breaking and entering, resist/delay/obstruct and assault on officer were reported at Highway 66, King.


Recovery of stolen property was reported Highway 66 South, Westfield, when $5,600 motor bike was recovered.


Larceny of motor vehicle was reported at Saura Woods Lane, Germanton when $16,000 vehicle was stolen.


Breaking and entering was reported at North Main Street, Walnut Cove; Merridon Drive, Pinnacle; Piney Mountain Road, Walnut Cove; Kinsey Drive, Walnut Cove; YMCA Camp Road, King.


Damage to property was reported at Highway 704, Sandy Ridge, when $2,500 damage was done to basement.


Simple assault was reported at Little Pond Road, Westfield; Highway 89 East, Walnut Cove; Bray Road, Walnut Cove.


Larceny was reported at Highway 66 North, Danbury, when $200 insulated wire, $50 iron sink, $50 copper AC coil sets, $500 assorted sockets and wrenches, and $600 chandeliers were stolen.


Larceny was reported at NC 89 West, Westfield, when $40 gas, $100 battery box, $120 batteries, $100 deer camera and unknown amount of money were stolen.

Damage to property was reported at Calloway Road, King, when $250 storm door glass, $10 chair, $25 mailbox and $250 vehicle were damaged.


Fraud was reported at Snowhill Church Road, Lawsonville; Highway 772, Sandy Ridge; Thomas Road, King; Creekside Drive, Walnut Cove; Highway 66 South, King.


Larceny was reported at Piney Meadows Lane, Walnut Cove, when $199 tablet was stolen.


Breaking and entering and damage to property were reported at Harris Road, Germanton, when $300 damage was done to doors and frames.


Impersonating a law enforcement officer was reported at County Home Road, Walnut Cove.


Breaking and entering and injury to real property were reported at Lil Pond Road, Westfield, when $100 damage was done to door.


Larceny was reported at Mountain View Road, Germanton, and Highway 65 West, Walnut Cove.


Driving while impaired was reported at Rock House Road, Westfield.


Assault was reported at Galloway Road, Walnut Cove; Highway 66 South, King; Longcreek Way, King; Manny Ann Road, Walnut Cove; Kallam Farm Road, Lawsonville; Gib Fergerson Road, King; Meadow View Drive, Tobaccoville.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Delray Drive, King, when $80 chop saw, $130 bike, and $700 flat screen TVs were stolen.


Breaking and entering and damage to property were reported at Ward Road, Sandy Ridge, when door frame and yard were damaged.


Larceny was reported at North Stokes School Road, Danbury, when $30 pocketbook, $40 cash, $50 eyeglasses, $275 sunglasses, $5 inhaler, employee ID card, driver’s license and $5 debit card/checkbook were stolen.


Damage to property was reported at Charlotte Lane, Walnut Cove, when $8 valve stems were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Volunteer Road, Pinnacle, when $25 vehicle starter, $100 alternators, $95 tractor battery, $40 lawn mower batter, $230 chains, $1,000 chain horse and $120 tire bars were stolen.


Damage to property was reported at Highway 268 East, Pilot Mountain, when $200 damage was done to yard.


Trespassing was reported at Moir Farm Road, Sandy Ridge; Rubys Road, King; Whispering Oaks Drive, Pilot Mountain; Rosebud Road, King; William Fowler Road, King; Merridon Drive, Pinnacle; Whispering Oak Drive, King; Beaver Dam Creek Road, Westfield; and Goolsby Road, Walnut Cove.


Larceny was reported at Tilley Road, Walnut Cove, when license plate was stolen.


Larceny was reported at Snyder Road, Lawsonville, when $20 prescription medicine was stolen.


Larceny was reported at Osborne Joyce Road, Pinnacle, when $1,200 welding cable was stolen.


ID theft and obtaining property by false pretense were reported at US 311 Highway North, Pine Hall.


Larceny and damage to property were reported at Frosty Ridge Lane, King, when $50 propane tanks, $7 sink, $50 gas cans, and $85 shop vac were stolen and $320 grill was damaged.


Larceny was reported at Highway 772, Madison, when $200 oil barrel and stand were stolen.


Disturbance and assault were reported at East Road, Walnut Cove.


Breaking and entering motor vehicle and larceny were reported at Rhoades Loop Road, Madison, when $5 vehicle tag was stolen.


Assault on a female, assault and damage to real property were reported at Stacy Rothrock Road, Madison, when $100 damage was done to drywall.


Damage to property was reported at Newsome Road, King, when $1,000 damage was done to vehicle.


Disturbance and communicating threats were reported at Crestview Drive, Walnut Cove.


Assault and communicating threats were reported at Highway 772, Madison.


Resist/delay/interfere was reported at Howard Bullins Road.

Larceny was reported at Highway 772, Madison, when $135 fence wire was stolen.


Larceny and damage to property were reported at Highway 65 West, Walnut Cove, when $200 ceiling fans and $1,000 copper out of air condition unit were stolen and $100 kitchen cabinet, $500 washer and dryer, $300 doors were damaged.


Larceny was reported at Brown Mountain Road, Pilot Mountain, when $300 assorted bicycles and $200 scrap metal items were stolen.


Damage to property was reported at Highway 8 and 65, Germanton, when $200 damage was done to gas pump cover and $15 damage was done to trash can.


Larceny was reported at Highway 89 East, Walnut Cove, when $349 weed eater, $250 leaf blower, $500 nail gun, $1,000 golf clubs and $150 golf bag were stolen.


Breaking and entering, larceny and damage to property were reported at Rosebud Road, Walnut Cove, when $200 damage was done to window, $50 damage was done to door and $700 cross bow and arrows were stolen.


Affray and resisting public officer were reported at Highway 331 North, Madison.


Larceny was reported at Highway 89, Westfield, when $50 antique wheel chair was stolen.


Larceny was reported at Old Phillips Road, Pinnacle, when $400 vehicle was stolen.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Highway 704 East, Lawsonville, when $12 change was stolen.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Tuttle Road, Walnut Cove, when $3,250 guns, $700 cross bow with scope and hard case, and $50 knife were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Brown Mountain Road, Westfield, when $630 pole saw, $1,000 chain saw and $450 backpack blower were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Hart Road, Lawsonville, when $1,000 semi-automatic pistol was stolen.


Breaking and entering to a motor vehicle and larceny were reported at Honeywell Court, King, when $30 pocketbook, ID cards, $40 purse, $106 cash, $80 camera and $40 inhalers were stolen.


Damage to property was reported at Phillips Road, Sandy Ridge, when $50 damage was done to mailbox and $50 damage to post.


Larceny was reported at Piney Mountain Road, Walnut Cove, when $150 prescription medicine was stolen.


Breaking and entering, larceny and damage to property were reported at Stewart Road, Walnut Cove, when $675 guns, $25 briefcase with checkbooks, $10 shotgun shells and $25 cap gun were stolen and $150 damage was done to door.


Concealment of merchandise was reported at Dodgetown Road, Walnut Cove.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Powell Lankford Road, Lawsonville, when $800 flat screen TV, $200 gold necklace, $60 cash, $100 match box cars, $500 Xbox games and station, and $100 buck knife with case were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Meadowbrook and Newsome Road, King, when $350 wheel and tire were stolen.


Vehicle pursuit was reported at Surry Line Road, Pinnacle.


Damage to property and disturbance were reported Fulp Road, Walnut Cove.


Larceny was reported at Moser Farm Road, King, when $50 sign was stolen.


Larceny was reported at Gib Ferguson Road, King, when $6 prescription medicine was stolen.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Brown Road, King, when $300 U.S. currency, driver’s license and $30 pocket book were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Friendship Road, Germanton, when $50 screw ups for deer stand were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Hillcrest View Drive, Walnut Cove, when $500 prescription medicines were stolen.


Communicating threats and assault were reported at Meadow View Drive, Tobaccoville.


Fraud/impersonation was reported at Ravenwood Court, King.


Damage was reported at Highway 772, Walnut Cove, when $200 damage was done to door.


Larceny was reported at Westmoreland Farm Road, King, when $5,175 jewelry pieces were stolen.

Armed to terror of public and assault by pointing a gun was reported at Whispering Oaks Drive, King.

Larceny was reported at Highway 311 North, when $1,100 batteries and copper cables were stolen.


Breaking or entering was reported at North Stokes School Road, Danbury, when $25 damage was done to door.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Tuttle Road, Walnut Cove, when $30 strong box and $2 U.S. currency in silver coins were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Highway 89 East, Walnut Cove, when $150 angle piece of iron was stolen.


Larceny and breaking and entering were reported at Lacy Lane, Walnut Cove, when $100 rims, $150 drill, $40 scrap copper, $300 hammer drill and $60 hand truck were stolen.


Larceny was reported at old Highway 52 and High Bridge Road, Pinnacle, when $162 U.S. currency and $30 prescription medicine were stolen.

Assault on a female was reported at Noel Martin Road, Sandy Ridge; Murphy Road, Walnut Cove; and Hillcrest Drive, King.


Assault with deadly weapon and serious injury were reported at Christy Lane, Madison.


Larceny was reported at Locust Grove Road, Westfield, when $2,205 guns, $100 rotary tool, $16 screw for attaching magazines, $310 saw, $135 drill, and $250 cow hide were stolen.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Beasley School Road, Sandy Ridge, when $250 chainsaw and $50 chainsaw case were stolen and $50 damage was done to door.


Larceny was reported at Christy Lane, Madison, when $1 prescription medicine was stolen.


50B violation was reported at Chestnut Grove Road, King; Hartgrove Road, King.


Littering was reported at Gentry Farm Road, King, and Martin Farm and Buffalo Road, Madison.

Drinking under the influence and no operator’s license were reported at Old 52, Pinnacle.

Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Country Meadows Drive, Walnut Cove, when $4,800 jewelry pieces, $1,500 gold bar, $150 liberty coin, U.S. $2 dollars bills, $140 coins, and $1,000 U.S. currency were stolen.


Larceny from auto was reported at Highway 89 East, Walnut Cove, when $40 canvas tool bag, $280 tools, $12 tape and $20 LED flashlight were stolen.


Assault on a female and injury to real property were reported at Volunteer Road, Pinnacle, when $200 window, $50 wall, $50 door and $200 bar were damaged.


Larceny was reported at Rock Road and Dillard Road, Madison, when $4 political signs were stolen.


Damage to property was reported at Christy Lane, Madison, when $20 damage was done to vehicle.

Larceny was reported at Gib Ferguson Road, King, when $200 keyboard was stolen.


Breaking and entering and damage to property were reported at Pin Oak Drive, King, when $200 damage was done to window.


Breaking and entering, larceny and damage to property were reported at Hunt Joyce Road, Madison, when $100 heater, $150 window air conditioning unit, $45 currency, silver plate, and $40 silver dollars were stolen and $80 piggy bank was damaged.
