Stokes County Board of Education member Colon Moore presents a special award to Marcia Saunders, a first grade teacher at Pine Hall Elementary School. Saunders is the recipient of the 2008 Champion for Early Childhood Partner for Stokes Partnership for Children. Pine Hall Principal Amy Musten says that Saunders’ class is “a magical place” where students are “totally engaged in learning.”
