COUNTY ARRESTS


The following people were arrested and charged by the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office. The information includes the arrested person’s name, address and charges received.


Everette McBride, 43, 1028 Tombstone Trail, Madison, for felony assault with deadly weapon with intent to serious injury. Bond is $1,500.


Kellie Adkins, 38, 1050 Ash Pond Drive, King, for misdemeanor for failure to comply. Bond is $525.50 secured. Also for for misdemeanor order for arrest and failure to appear. Bond is $500 secured.


Brian Byrd, 34, 1285 Meadowbrook Drive, King, for misdemeanor assault on government official and resisting public officer. Bond is $1,500 unsecured.


Mendy Holleman, 35, 1050 Sapp Drive, Walnut Cove, for felony habitual felon. Bond $5,000 unsecured.


David Grimes, 59, 5231 Highway 66 South, King, for misdemeanor driving while impaired. Bond is $1,000 unsecured.


Stella Walburn, 1010 McIntosh Lane, Pinnacle, for misdemeanor order for arrest and failure to appear. Bond is $5,000 secured.


James King, 36, 1050 Wesly Farm Road, for misdemeanor failure to pay child support. No bond.


William Raymond, 45, 531 Bethi Avenue, Winston-Salem, for misdemeanor order for arrest and failure to appear. Bond is $7,500 secured.


Loren Charles, 34, 1121 Flat Shoals Road, King, for misdemeanor order for arrest and failure to arrest. Bond is $285.08 secured.


David Steadman, 22, 151 Pine Crest Drive, Eden, for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond is $500 secured.


Adam George, 26, 2186 Dillard Road, Madison, for misdemeanor assault by pointing gun, two counts breaking and entering and two counts assault and battery. Bond is $1,000 secured.


Toni Barnes, 41, 1079 Brim Road, Madison, for misdemeanor driving while impaired, flee to elude arrest with motor vehicle and drive/allow motor vehicle no registration. Custody release.


Joshua Collins, 22, 2451 NC 704 East, Lawsonville, for two counts misdemeanor failure to appear-pretrial release violation. Bond is $20,200 secured. Also for misdemeanor failure to appear- pretrial release violation. Bond is $12,500 secured.


Christopher Cooke Sr., 43, 6028 NC Highway 772, Madison, for misdemeanor failure to appear-criminal summons. Bond is $1,000 secured.


Joshua Venable, 25, 3759 NC Highway 66 South, King, for felony possession Schedule I Controlled Substance, misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia and felony maintain drug vehicle. Bond is $7,500 secured.


James Nunn, 31, 1569 Horseshoe Road, Westfield, for felony forgery, uttering of a forged endorsement and misdemeanor larceny.


Enrique Hairston, 20, 1357 Lemmons Road, Walnut Cove, for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond is $300 secured.


Larry Joyce, 53, 2005 Willow Creek, Pinnacle, for felony failed to register sex offender and failed to notify address change. Bond is $7,500 secured.

Insurance violation and violation Controlled Substance Act was reported at Dan George Road, Westfield.


Breaking and entering, larceny and damage to property were reported at South Friendship Road, King, when $400 flat screen TV, $300 camcorder, $360 Wii system and controllers, $200 video games, $100 games were stolen, and $300 damage was done to windows and $175 damage to gun cabinet.


Larceny and breaking and entering were reported at Highway 66, King, when $100 chainsaw was stolen.


Breaking and entering was reported at Ruth’s Road, King.


Larceny and breaking and entering were reported at Tilley Road, Walnut Cove, when $38.95 box of tie downs were stolen.


Breaking and entering, larceny and were reported at Highway 77w, Walnut Cove, when $400 TV, $1,500 computer, $400 TV and $50 jewelry box with jewelry were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Delta Church Road, Sandy Ridge, when $830 car batteries were stolen and $100 battery was damaged.


Larceny was reported at Highway 89, Walnut Cove, when $300 batteries were stolen.


Larceny was reported at Piney Grove Church Road, Danbury, when $200 batteries were stolen.


Larceny of a weed eater was reported at Highway 704, Sandy Ridge, when $50 weed eater was stolen.


Vandalism was reported at Cappella Ridge Road, King.


Identify Theft was reported at Littlebrook Drive, King.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Pine Hall Road, Walnut Cove, when $150 gold necklace, $320 gold hoop earrings, $220 Wii game system, $400 Wii games, $450 flat screen TV, $160 portable DVD player, $10 US currency and $800 computer were stolen.


Assault was reported at Pebblebrook Drive, Sandy Ridge.


Breaking and entering was reported at Stevens Road, Westfield, when $300 door molding, and sheetrock framing was damaged.


Damage to property was reported at Highway 704 East, Sandy Ridge, when $30 damage was done to deadbolt and $20 damage to doorknob.


Breaking and entering of motor vehicle, larceny and damage to property were reported at High Bridge Road, Pinnacle, when $600 duffle bag on wheels with clothing and shoes, $1 checks, $100 autographed snow globe were stolen, and $25 CD player was damaged.


Injury to personal property was reported at Terry Road, Germanton, when $7,500 damage was done to vehicle.


Larceny was reported at Swaims Mobile Home Park, Walnut Cove, when $10 green lawn chair was stolen.


Larceny and damage to property was reported at Gordon Road, Pinnacle, when $200 air conditioner was stolen and $50 damage was done property.


Breaking and entering and larceny were reported at Gordon Road, Pinnacle, when $600 wheat binder, copper tubing, $1,200 record player and $50 tobacco racks were stolen.


Larceny of firearm was reported at Blue Jay Lane, Pilot Mountain, when $300 handgun was stolen.
