Meadows resident George Hicks, author and historian, speaks to the third, fourth and fifth grades at Pine Hall Elementary School. The students learned about life in North Carolina during the Revolutionary War period. The students are wearing their tri-corner hats and waving their Union Jack and Betsy Ross 1776 flags they made. The program was sponsored by the Stokes County Arts Council.
