Church anniversary—Haw Pond Church of Christ will celebrate its 125th anniversary on January 4 with a special homecoming service. A fellowship time will begin at 10 a.m. with the worship service beginning at 10:30 a.m. with special music, history of the church and message by Jimmy Headen, guest minister. The service will be followed by a covered dish meal at the Quaker Gap Community Center. The public is invited to join in this special service. The church is located at 1008 Carroll Road at the corner of Carroll Road and North Friendship Roads.
