This weekend the Stokes Stomp will pay tribute to the late Joe “Snuffy” Smith, pictured right, a well-known local musician and instrument repairman who died earlier this year. Former band member Joey Lemons, left, is helping organize a Tribute Jam in memory of Snuffy, who played banjo for “Wood & Steel” and repaired instruments for nationally-known artists. The tribute jam will take place on the main stage Saturday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will feature a variety of musicians.
