West Stokes came back from being down by two points in the first half to beat Forbush 3-2 in the second round of state playoffs at West Stokes High School on Saturday night.

The Wildcats hit their stride in the second half. The Wildcats pushed into the goal area just a minute into the second half and Ben Hale managed a shot in a very crowded 18-yard box, which brought the score to 2-1.

About ten minutes later, the Wildcats struck again. Austin Snow pushed hard down field and made a quick pass to Matt Hopper, who drove the shot in goal and tied the game up 2-2.

The Wildcats grabbed another goal at the 30:22 marker, when Snow converted a pass from Thomas Hawkins. The Wildcats took the lead 3-2 and with good defensive work on the field they managed to keep their lead the rest of the match.
