The Sandy Ridge Boy Scouts will be sponsoring a Brunswick stew January 12 at the Sandy Ridge Community Building, cooked by David Manuel. To place orders call Jimmy Ellington 871-2049 or Lonnie Lemons at 871-2786.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Mary Nickelston who died Sunday, December 23, in Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart, Va.

Ruth Ware is a patient in Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden.

Sandra Craig has returned home after spending a few days in the hospital.

H.C. Lemons has returned home after spending some time in Pioneer Community Hospital in Danbury.

Deborah Ellington underwent surgery recently.

Doris Hawkins remains on the sick list.

Junior and Janny Priddy from Richmond, Va., returned home after spending a couple of days here with Lena and Kenny Priddy. Janny visited Louise Spencer in Britthaven of Madison Nursing Home while here.

It was good to seen Ann McClintock at church Sunday. Ann is staying with her daughter in Raleigh.

Carlyle Amos is on the sick list.
