South Stokes’ varsity teams were successful in their matchups against Elkin on Tuesday night. The varsity boy’s team narrowly came out on top with a 37-36 win.
Sauras’ Head Coach Jason Clark said that the team kept their composure through the close game and made some good plays in the final moments that allowed them to take the win. The varsity girl’s team took home a 39-33 win.
North Stokes’ varsity teams took home some wins against Alleghany. The varsity boy’s team took home a 54-46 win in a tight game.
The Lady Vikings were successful, as well. They took home a 28-16 win over Alleghany, which was a nice comeback after last week’s 28-16 loss to East Wilkes.
