L.O.T 2540 Inc., a non-profit organization, runs an architectural salvage store and crafting community based in Madison. Proceeds from the sale of lightly used materials, home furnishings, crafts antiques and more are used to support “crisis to stability” ministries and services in Rockingham County.

The “broken to restored” philosophy is evident throughout the store as it carries a wide assortment of products. These include salvaged materials, which were redirected from the landfills, home furnishings (donated by local businesses and individuals) and restored, up-cycled and refinished furniture and crafts which are produced by local artisans.

The organization has recently partnered and worked to provide support to Rockingham County Help for the Homeless and Rockingham County Partnership for Children. It offers food assistance monthly through a food pantry and has a “Free” store which is open to the public on Saturdays which offers clothing and household goods at no charge to the public.

Plans for this fall include a Grand Opening Celebration on November 17th and continued partnering efforts that will include L.O.T. 2540 Inc. being an official drop off site for the Toys for Tots program.

The Grand Opening will be held Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crafts, antiques, home furnishings, architectural salvage and more will be available. All proceeds further the “crisis to stability” ministry. There will be live demonstrations from local crafters from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A silent auction of furniture and handmade crafts will also take place.

All LOT 2540 merchandise (consignment may not be included) will be 25 percent off for the entire day as the organization celebrates its new home at 124 New Market, Madison, NC 27025 (next to the K-Mart shopping center).

Enjoy fellowship with the community as LOT 2540 begins construction on its 22,000 square foot prayer, worship and community space. You can make a pledge to support the work.

Enter drawings the day of the event for door prizes. Gift certificates to LOT 2540, along with crafts and furniture, will be given away.
