Stokes Cooperative Extension will present the annual Small Farms Day in Stokes Tour on Thursday, March 23, 2017. The annual tour visits 4 – 5 innovative small scale farming operations affording the public the opportunity to learn about the varied types of agricultural enterprises in Stokes County.

Stops on this year’s tour include- Luna’s Trail Farm and Event Center in Westfield, Saura Farm and Nursery in King, Pilot Mountain Vineyard LLC in Pinnacle, the Stokes Extension Master Gardener Volunteer operated SEEDS demonstration garden in King, and Mitchell’s Nursery and Greenhouse, also in King.

The tour van will depart the Cooperative Extension office in Danbury at 8:30 am and return at 1:30 pm. Lunch will be provided.

There is no cost to attend the tour, however advance registration is requested.
