TRIED AND TASTED RECIPE
Carolyn’s Chili (Several have asked for this recipe. Hope you enjoy!)
2 – 3 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. Chili-O Seasoning
1 can Rotel Tomatoes, original
1 can tomato sauce – 15 oz.
1/3 cup water
½ tsp salt & ½ tsp pepper
2 tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. onion powder
About 4 dashes Worchestershire Sauce
Brown beef with water, mash with potato masher to break apart. Drain. Stir in rest of ingredients and bring to boil over medium heat. Simmer for about 1 hour until thick and done. Do a taste test. If too spicy, add more sugar a tablespoon at a time. If out of onion powder, puree half of an onion and add to mixture.
