On Thursday, January 4, Representative Virginia Foxx attended and addressed the King Rotary breakfast. Lisa Turney of the Horne Creek Farm State Historic Site was the featured speaker, and provided an update to members about the sites’ ongoing initiatives and accomplishments.

Foxx, a long-term friend and supporter of Horne Creek Farms, said, “I commend Lisa for all that she is doing at Horne Creek and for the community. It is quite impressive and I am glad that she is here to speak at Rotary today. As a former Rotarian, I know that wherever there is a Rotary, there is much good being done in the community.”

Representative Foxx concluded with a brief update from Washington D.C.
