INSPIRE Stokes County will host a special Community Day event Saturday, April 23, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Germanton Park. The event is designed to reveal the newly installed adaptive playground swing for individuals with physical disabilities. The swing frame houses two wheelchair platform swings and two full body molded seat swings. The group plans to also utilize the day by offering an informational booth to help raise awareness within the community about the resources offered for persons with physical and developmental disabilities, and highlight some of the programs that INSPIRE has to share. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy games, crafts, and cake.
