Pine Hall Baptist Church will celebrate Pastor P.F. Lowery 38th anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 3 p.m. Rev. Arthur Wadelington will be the guest speaker.
Condolences goes to the family of Mr. James Hampton “Smitty” Smith. He leaves two daughters to cherish his memories. Cheryl Smith and Nicole Smith (Joey) Elliott, both of Winston-Salem; three sisters, Mildred Hairston, Bettie Smith of Walnut Cove, and Nancy Dodd of Walkertown; and two grandsons, Jarred Smith and Elijah Elliott of Winston-Salem. Hamp graduated from London High School and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, a retiree from R.J. Reynolds Packaging in 1999. He was a native of Danbury and was laid to rest in the Danbury cemetery.
Goodwill First Baptist Church Senior Choir will celebrate their choir’s anniversary on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m.
